DROPS Alpaca is a magnificent 3-strand yarn spun from 100% superfine alpaca, with an extra twist to give it a durable texture. The alpaca is untreated, meaning it has only been washed and has not been subjected to chemical treatment before dyeing. This highlights the best qualities of the fibers and, at the same time, provides better shape and quality in texture.
DROPS Alpaca is available in a wide range of colors and designs in the DROPS collection. Garments made with this yarn are light and comfortable, super soft in direct contact with the skin and have a beautiful characteristic sheen.
This yarn is Oeko-Tex® certified (certificate number 22.HPE.07484), Standard 100, Class II by the Hohenstein Institute. This means it has been tested and is completely free of harmful substances and is considered safe for both humans and the environment. Class II means the yarn is suitable for direct contact with the skin in large areas of fabric, such as blouses, shirts, mattresses, etc.
