DROPS Cotton Light is a soft cotton yarn, made of 50% cotton and 50% micro polyester. Spun with multiple strands, it provides a smooth and regular stitch definition; microfibres are finer than silk yarns and do not absorb moisture which, combined with cotton, results in airy garments, both in summer and winter, allowing the skin to breathe. Furthermore, they provide excellent stability in maintaining the garment's original shape and great durability.
DROPS Cotton Light is an excellent choice for children's garments, as it is machine washable and comes in a wide variety of bright and fun colours.
An important note: if you intend to use this yarn for crochet work, please note that the yarn tends to split due to the number of filaments and its smooth, silky nature.
This yarn is Oeko-Tex® certified (certificate number 951032), Standard 100, Class I by AITEX - Textile Research Institute. This means it has been tested and is completely free from harmful substances and is considered safe for both humans and the environment. Class I is the highest certification level and means the yarn is suitable for baby items (ages 0-3 years).
