DROPS Lima is a 4-strand sport yarn, made from a combination of 65% wool and 35% superfine alpaca. Its fibers are untreated, meaning the wool has only been washed and not subjected to any chemical treatment before dyeing. This highlights the natural properties of the fibers and, at the same time, gives the texture a better shape and quality.
DROPS Lima is ideal for outdoor garments, such as classic Norwegian patterned sweaters or sports sweaters, which are generally knitted with a tight tension for better stability and durability of the garment. This strong and durable yarn quality is combined with the pleasant and comfortable properties of alpaca. A sport yarn with a touch of luxury!
This yarn is Oeko-Tex® certified (certificate number 23.HPE.36896), Standard 100, Class II by the Hohenstein Institute. This means it has been tested and is completely free of harmful substances and is considered safe for humans and ecologically sound. Class II means that the yarn is suitable for direct skin contact in large areas of fabric, such as sweaters, shirts, mattresses, etc.
