DROPS Alpaca Bouclé is a fabulous fancy yarn spun from 2 threads of superfine alpaca and polyamide, which contributes to the yarn's strength. Its natural fibers are untreated, meaning they have only been washed and have not undergone any chemical processes before being dyed. This enhances the natural properties of the fibers and, at the same time, provides better shape and quality in its texture.
"Bouclé" is a French word that refers to the number of small "curls" of pure alpaca that give the wool its characteristic texture and enhance the softness of the fibers. Garments made with DROPS Alpaca Bouclé are light and very fluffy.
This yarn is Oeko-Tex® certified (certificate number 23.HPE.36896), Standard 100, Class II by the Hohenstein Institute. This means it has been tested and is completely free of harmful substances and is considered safe for both humans and the environment. Class II means that the yarn is suitable for direct contact with the skin over large areas of fabric, such as blouses, shirts, mattresses, etc.
