DROPS Alpaca Bouclé is a fabulous fancy yarn spun with two strands of superfine alpaca and polyamide, which contributes to the yarn's strength. Its natural fibers are untreated, meaning they have only been washed and not subjected to any chemical processes before being dyed. This enhances the fibers' natural properties while also improving their shape and texture.

"Bouclé" is a French word that refers to the number of small "curls" in pure alpaca that give the wool its characteristic texture and enhance the softness of the fibers. Items made with DROPS Alpaca Bouclé are light and very fluffy.

This yarn is Oeko-Tex® certified (certificate number 23.HPE.36896), Standard 100, Class II by the Hohenstein Institute. This means it has been tested and is completely free of hazardous substances and is considered safe for both humans and the environment. Class II means the yarn is suitable for direct contact with the skin in large fabrics, such as blouses, shirts, mattresses, etc.
