DROPS Baby Merino is a super soft 100% extra fine merino wool, which breathes and doesn't itch, making it particularly suitable for delicate baby skin. Spun from multiple thin strands in a special way (cable spun), DROPS Baby Merino yields well-defined and even stitches and very elastic garments. Its special texture makes it very important to achieve the correct tension for your project, so prefer to use a tighter tension rather than a looser one.
DROPS Baby Merino yarn is spun from fibers from animals raised outdoors without being subjected to "mulesing" in South America and is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified.
The yarn also has a superwash treatment and can therefore be machine washed and is ideal for daily use, but when washing your garments, you should take special care and follow the washing instructions.
This yarn is Oeko-Tex® certified (certificate number 25.3.0110), Standard 100, Class I by INNOVATEXT TEXTILE ENGINEERING AND TESTING, HUNGARY. This means that it has been tested and is completely free of harmful substances and is considered safe for both humans and the environment. Class I is the highest level of certification and means that the yarn is suitable for baby articles (ages 0-3 years).
