DROPS Snow is a soft, thick, single-strand yarn, easy to work with, spun from 100% wool, resulting in warm, comfortable garments and is ideal for felting. The wool fibres used in this yarn are untreated, meaning the wool has only been washed and not subjected to any chemical treatment before dyeing. This enhances the natural properties of the fibres and, at the same time, gives a better shape and quality to its texture.
As a very popular yarn for winter, DROPS Snow is available in 2 types of shades: uni colours - a selection of solid colours - and mix - where several colours are carded together before being spun for a mixed effect.
This yarn is Oeko-Tex® certified (certificate number 25.3.0099), Standard 100, Class I by INNOVATEXT TEXTILE ENGINEERING AND TESTING, HUNGARY. This means it has been tested and is completely free of harmful substances and is considered safe for both humans and the environment. Class I is the highest certification level and means the yarn is suitable for baby items (ages 0-3 years).
