DROPS Snow is a single-ply yarn, soft, thick and easy to work with, spun from 100% wool, resulting in warm and comfortable garments and ideal for felting. The wool fibers used in this yarn are untreated, meaning the wool has only been washed and has not undergone any chemical processes before dyeing. This enhances the natural properties of the fibers while giving better shape and texture quality.
Being a very popular yarn for winter, DROPS Snow is available in 2 types of shades: uni colors - a selection of solid colors - and mix - in which several colors are carded together before being spun for a variegated effect.
This yarn is certified by Oeko-Tex® (certificate number 25.3.0099), Standard 100, Class I by INNOVATEXT TEXTILE ENGINEERING AND TESTING, HUNGARY. This means it has been tested and is completely free of hazardous substances and is considered safe for both humans and the environment. Class I is the highest level of certification and means the yarn is suitable for baby items (ages 0-3 years).
