DROPS Nepal is a lovely, thick and luxurious yarn spun from 35% superfine alpaca and 65% wool, a combination that enhances the softness of the alpaca whilst the wool contributes to the garments keeping their shape. Both fibres are untreated, meaning that the wool has only been washed and not exposed to any chemical treatment before dyeing. This highlights the fibres’ natural properties and at the same time gives a better shape and texture quality.

Spun from 3 strands which gives a sensational and rustic stitch definition. DROPS Nepal is easy to knit or crochet and is also ideal for felting. Felted garments get an even and soft surface.

DROPS Nepal exists in mix colours, which means that the colours are carded together before the yarn is spun, which gives a mixed or mottled effect.

This yarn is Oeko-Tex® certified (certificate number 23.HPE.36896), Standard 100, Class II from Hohenstein Institute. This means that it has been tested and is completely free from harmful substances and is considered safe for humans and ecologically sound. Class II means that the yarn is suitable for direct contact with the skin on large areas of fabric, such as blouses, shirts, mattresses, etc.
