Spun with multiple 100% extra fine merino wool fibres, which gives it elasticity, the main characteristics of DROPS Big Merino are its softness, its volume, its elasticity and even the final result in the swatch, which makes it ideal for knitting structured patterns such as cables.
This special construction makes it crucial to get the tension right for your project. Therefore, use a tighter tension, if applicable, rather than a looser one. DROPS Big Merino also has a superwash treatment and is therefore machine washable and ideal for everyday wear. However, when washing your garments, please take special care and follow the washing instructions.
DROPS Big Merino is spun from 100% merino wool from free-range, mulesing-free animals in South America and is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified.
This yarn is Oeko-Tex® certified (certificate number 25.3.0110), Standard 100, Class I by INNOVATEXT TEXTILE ENGINEERING AND TESTING, HUNGARY. This means it has been tested and is completely free of hazardous substances and is considered safe for both humans and the environment. Class I is the highest level of certification and means the yarn is suitable for baby items (ages 0-3 years).
