DROPS Paris is spun from many fine fibers of pure cotton - a fiber that allows the skin to breathe and has a high absorption power - which makes garments made with this yarn fresh and yet warm, depending on the room temperature. With a soft feel and a delicately rustic texture, this yarn is available in two different types: DROPS Paris uni color, made from 100% combed cotton, and DROPS Paris recycled denim, made from 100% recycled cotton.
In both cases, it's a yarn that knits quickly and easily, making it an excellent choice for beginners and for decorative projects such as potholders, dishcloths, towels, and baby bibs. It's particularly recommended for sensitive skin because the yarn won't scratch or irritate the skin.
This yarn is Oeko-Tex® certified (certificate number 09.HBG.68250), Standard 100, Class I by the Hohenstein Institute. This means it has been tested and is completely free of hazardous substances and is considered safe for both humans and the environment. Class I is the highest level of certification and means the yarn is suitable for baby items (ages 0-3 years).
