Composed of a single strand, spun with the same soft wool as DROPS Snow, DROPS Polaris is particularly suitable for home décor projects as well as outdoor clothing, such as hats, scarves and ponchos. Ideal for those who like to work with thick needles, DROPS Polaris knits quickly with the same tension as 2 strands of DROPS Snow.
DROPS Polaris is available in mix colours, which means the colours are carded together before spinning, giving it a mottled effect. This yarn is also made from untreated wool fibres, which means the wool has only been washed and has not been subjected to any chemical process before being dyed. This highlights the natural properties of the fibres and, at the same time, gives a better shape and quality to its texture.
This yarn is Oeko-Tex® certified (certificate number 25.3.0099), Standard 100, Class I by INNOVATEXT TEXTILE ENGINEERING AND TESTING, HUNGARY. This means it has been tested and is completely free of hazardous substances and is considered safe for humans and ecologically sound. Class I is the highest level of certification and means the yarn is suitable for baby items (ages 0-3 years).
