Composed of a single strand, spun from the same soft wool as DROPS Snow, DROPS Polaris is particularly suitable for home décor projects as well as outdoor clothing such as hats, scarves and ponchos. Ideal for those who like to work with thick needles, DROPS Polaris knits quickly with the same tension as 2 strands of DROPS Snow.

DROPS Polaris comes in blended colors, meaning the colors were carded together before the yarn was spun, giving it a variegated effect. This yarn is also made with untreated wool fibers, meaning the wool has only been washed and has not undergone any chemical processes before dyeing. This enhances the natural properties of the fibers while also providing better shape and texture quality.

This yarn is certified by Oeko-Tex® (certificate number 25.3.0099), Standard 100, Class I by INNOVATEXT TEXTILE ENGINEERING AND TESTING, HUNGARY. This means it has been tested and is completely free of hazardous substances and is considered safe for both humans and the environment. Class I is the highest level of certification and means the yarn is suitable for baby items (ages 0-3 years).
