A classic tweed yarn in Superfine Alpaca and Merino Wool
DROPS Soft Tweed is, as its name suggests, a soft tweed yarn made from a blend of merino wool, superfine alpaca, and viscose. This yarn is twisted by carding these fibers together with small felted "tweed buttons," which add pops of color to define the look of this quality.
Rustic yet elegant, this yarn is easy to knit and provides regular stitches. A great choice for textured patterns or for pieces like vests, pullovers, and jackets, DROPS Soft Tweed is a perfect match for patterns created in DROPS Karisma, DROPS Lima, and DROPS Merino Extra Fine (Yarn Group B).
This yarn is Oeko-Tex® certified (certificate number 24CX00064), Standard 100, Class II by CENTRO TESSILE COTONIERO E. This means it has been tested and is completely free of hazardous substances and is considered safe for both humans and the environment. Class II means the yarn is suitable for direct contact with the skin in large areas of fabric, such as blouses, shirts, mattresses, etc.
